Free Midori TN calendar (diary) inserts for 2021: Part 6 - Field Notes size layouts

Here we are at the last of the 2021 diary sets posts. THis time it is my Field Notes sized inserts. As usual, all are available for download as A4 and Letter paper PDFs and are all free for personal use.

For the last time this year, then, here we go.

1. Week on two pages

The week on two pages layout gives you a straightforward planning view, a week at a time.

You'll need two booklets for a full year.

  2021 A4 version: H1  H2

  2021 Letter version: H1  H2

2. Daily log book

The daily log book is ideal for tracking daily activities - exercise, say, or diet - even Pokemon whatever the kids are doing this year.

Special offer

Maybe you prefer not to print your own. I will print and bind a 2021 daily log book for you at a cost of £6.00, including postage to anywhere in the world. It will have a printed card cover that looks like this:

If you want to take advantage of this offer, email me
(ray.blake@gmail.com) and we can make arrangements.

Printing instructions

You can print on to plain A4 paper in most of the world, or, if you’re in a country saddled with Letter paper, you can download a special version of your own. Either way, print at 100% – no scaling – duplexing by flipping the paper on the short edge. Then follow the instructions in the video below to bind your pages into a booklet. Remember that for this format you need to cut at a width of 90mm rather than 110mm and you'll have to trim 35 mm from the top and from the bottom as well, leaving you a booklet 140 mm tall. If you’re using Letter paper you’ll have to trim a bit more at the top and bottom to end up with a booklet that’s 140mm tall (Google will tell you whatever that is in inches, I’m sure.)

Ray,

Thank you for providing these wonderful inserts. I primarily use the Field Notes sized inserts. I have modified the Monthly PlanPack to better suit my needs with a Sunday start. The six week month calendar is perfect for writing out my schedule, a six week schedule on two pages, perfect. That with the week on two pages and some pages for notes and whatnot.

Just wanted to type a few syllables regarding A4 vs Letter sized paper. Thank you for providing some of you inserts in "Letter" size format. It is very difficult to get A4 here in the States. I will print four pages to see how it looks then resize from there, usually "fit to page" or something like that, works out fine for me.

The metric system... The United States had it's chance to go metric back in the 1970's but oh no way couldn't do that. I wish we would have gone metric then. forty years later we would be used to it and we would have A4 too I bet.

Thank you for everything. Take care.

Abe

You're welcome, Abe. The US scientific community all uses metric measurements and has for decades, but the everyday chap can't cope with it, it seems. One day.

Ray
Many thanks for these diaries. I use A4, and would like to print out some Field Notes size Would it be possible to print H1 and H2 on the same page, one above the other In portrait orientation (flip on the long side)? This would use half as much paper

Sadly, Jane, no. I build these by merging data from a spearate file and setting up the templates to work in that way would be a significant job.

Hi Ray. I just found your blog/website and have been busy reading all about TNs. Thank you for all the tips and reviews.
Definitely printing out some of these inserts won’t be trimming the edges as I prefer a5 size.
