One of my more popular Filofax insert designs was the Travel Journal, which I produced in Filofax Personal Size and Filofax Pocket size.
Here is what you'll see when you open it up.
Then follows a two-page spread for each day of your trip.
The standard file contains 48 notebook pages, which gives you 23 of these day-spreads. You can cut and paste to increase this if you want, of just cut to reduce it.
The last page looks like this:
This is designed to work as a Midori Traveler's Notebook insert but will work equally well as a stand-alone booklet.
You can download the file and print it for yourself. The file prints double-sided on A4 paper in booklet mode. You can then bind the sheets into a cover and trim. This post will show you how.

WOW! Just when I thought, "he's done it all"! Great idea with the travel journal. Suggestion: What about the tables having only the bottom border of each cell black/visible (or grey)...instead of the the entire cell being "filled" with grey (to conserve ink when printing). By retaining the bottom line it would save ink and avoid looking like "boxes/cells" and look more like a ruled notebook or dividers of "sections". Am I making any sense?
Yes, that certainly makes sense. It's kind of based on a standard Filofax insert that looked like this, and it's a look I associate with vacations. Frankly, I'm when I've spent as much as I often do on a trip, it's not likely to be the cost of my printing that's worrying me. However, I'll give some thought to making other designs available.
Forgive me Ray! I didn't read your post as carefully as I should have. I thought that the gray table on "the last page" was for every day...and that was my main complaint. Actually this should work just fine and ink shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for your kind consideration though! I REALLY APPRECIATE your generosity in offering these to us all!
Ray, another great idea. Just went on a dream vacation to Maui, would have loved this for keeping thoughts as I explored the island. Keep the great I ideas coming...
like it,thanks. modified it slight to add miles traveled each day on the motorbike and total for the trip. Will be printing a few off when a group of us ride to Italy laterin the year.
Wonderful booklet!!!! Please make this in passport size. Thanks, Ray!
Well, I'll add it to my development list, but I'm not sure it will be viable with such a small page size. I'll have a go and see what can be achieved.
Looks pretty good!!!! But when i open the document i don´t see the double pages as in the post shown. i only see single pages like the filofax print.
Perhaps i´m a little bit too stupid :)) When i print the single pages i can´t make a booklet. When i change to landscape everything is out of order.

Check the final paragraph and click on the ‘booklet mode’ link which will take you to the instructions if you’re not familiar with booklet mode printing.
