Pockets solution for the Midori Traveler's Notebook

When I compared the Midori Traveler's Notebook to the Filofax system one of my observations was that Midori can't match the Filofax on pockets. Pockets are terribly useful. They hold loose papers like tickets and receipts and they hold them safely.

The standard range of Midori accessories includes some pocket soliutions and I have illustrated home-made pocket solutions here and here.

However, I have found another hack that provides a more secure home for small items. You should be able to find a packet of these in your local stationery superstore:


If not, you can buy them from Amazon.

These can be stuck to an insert cover (or to the inside leather if you can bring yourself to) and they have the advantage that contents will not easily fall out should your notebook spend some time upside down. Here is how I have put two of them to use in my own notebook:
